The Bossier City Lions Club will host its annual Coaches Supper leading up to the Jamboree. This is a time for our high school coaches to come together off the field for a delicious meal, good-spirited camaraderie and to be recognized and thanked before they take sides on the turf.

First Day of PreK

The last of our littles start their first day of school. It’s the first full day for PreK! There is sure to be excitement — and probably a few tears from moms — as these precious four-year-olds begin their early childhood education journey. We are so excited to welcome them into the fold!

It is an annual tradition fit for a queen. Make that six queens! The Bossier City Lions Club will fete our 2022 football Jamboree queens at a luncheon in their honor.

Yee haw! It’s time for Rodeo Days at the Willie Waggoner Memorial Arena and our Benton Elementary Tigers cannot wait for the chance to don their boots, chaps and hats and watch the action unfold before their eyes. There will be demonstrations, they will hear from a rodeo clown and, yes, there will be a bull involved in the mix! Giddy-up!

The lights will be officially flipped on for the 2022 season as the 69th Annual Bossier City Lions Club Jamboree kicks off. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and admission is $8. Come be a part of the electricity as everyone cheers for their favorite team, our spirit groups perform and the community comes together.
