Parkway’s 2022 football schedule will have one completely new opponent in Red River and two others it has faced many times to open the non-district portion of its upcoming slate of games.

The Panthers, who are coming off an 8-4 season, will open with Minden for the third time in the last four years. They were scheduled to play in 2020 at The Pit but Covid-19 prevented that game. Parkway has won the last seven meetings and 17 of the 27 times it has played Minden. The game is set to be played at Bossier High School.

Parkway will be on the road the second week when it makes the trip to Coushatta to face Red River. The Bulldogs, like the Panthers, are coming off an 8-4 campaign.

Bossier is back on the schedule for the first time since 2010 and will be played at home for Homecoming. The Bearkats have won 27 of the 41 games in the series.

From there the Panthers jump into District 1-5A play on the road at Haughton before returning home against Captain Shreve. They are at Southwood, home against Byrd and Natchitoches Central and back across town at Airline. They finish the season, in what could be a key game, at home against Benton.
