New Louisiana Tech football coach Sonny Cumbie, Conference USA softball coach of the Year Josh Taylor, and reinvested baseball coach Lane Burroughs are among the speakers slated Thursday evening in Shreveport for the annual “Bulldog Blitz.”

The Louisiana Tech Athletic Club and the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association launched the 2022 “Bulldog Blitz” sponsored by Origin Bank on Tuesday evening in Monroe.

The Blitz comes to Shreveport on Thursday at the Seventh Tap, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 with light eats being served. A cash bar will be available.

Special guests for this year’s tour will include Cumbie, Burroughs, Taylor, Lady Techster basketball coach Brooke Stoehr, and athletics director Dr. Eric Wood. Burroughs just signed a five-year contract extension after leading the Diamond Dogs to a second straight NCAA Regional and 40-win season.
