Bossier High ran its record of consecutive perfect district seasons in boys basketball to four with a 52-38 defeat of Mansfield Tuesday night.
The Bearkats finished the 2021-22 District 1-3A season 8-0 with the win and improved to 23-7 overall.
Joseph Manning had his usual double-digit scoring night with 17 points but it was Marquis Harris who led the Kats with 18 points.
The win also ran Bossier’s streak of consecutive district wins to 49 dating back to 2017-18 when the Kats dropped their first league game and ran off wins in the next 13 games.
Aaron Guin scored 12 points to lead the Wolverines (11-10, 4-3).
AIRLINE 41, SOUTHWOOD 40: The Vikings moved into third place in District 1-5A with the win at home. Airline (15-9, 9-4) got a game-high 19 points from Colby O’Glee and Cameron Walker scored 10.
Southwood (15-16, 8-5) was led by Darius Anderson’s 14 points.
PARKWAY 71, Haughton 62: The Panthers (6-19, 1-12) picked up their first District 1-5A win on the season as Christian McCoy tallied 16 points and Change Snell 10. The Bucs’ Delaney Lathan led all scorer with 27 points. Haughton is now 15-14, 3-10.
WOODLAWN 44, EVANGEL 40: At Woodlawn, the Knights pulled into a second-place tie with BTW in District 1-4A at 8-3 with the win and improved to 24-9 overall. Evangel (18-8, 7-4) was led by Lance Waddles’ 18 points.
HUNTINGTON 71, NORTHWOOD 55: At Northwood, the Raiders clinched the District 1-4A championship with the win. Huntington improved to 18-5 overall and 10-1 in the district. The Falcons drop to 14-15, 4-8.
CALVARY 66, GREEN OAKS 51: The Cavaliers increased their win streak to 13 games with the non-district win at Green Oaks. Labree Williams tossed in 23 points, garnered 10 rebounds and had 4 blocks while Martin McDowell fired in 20 and dished out 5 assists. Sophomore Rondae Hill handed out 11 assists and Malaki Thomas had 7 points and 8 rebounds. Calvary will take a 21-10 overall record in to the Division IV playoffs.
