Work is moving forward on a 5.3-mile repair project along LA 530 near Oil City in north Caddo Parish, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

Officials said the contractor on the $4.7 million project is currently milling the existing asphalt in preparation for new paving. Intermittent lane closures will be required as crews carry out the work.

The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2026.
