The burn ban in Bossier Parish has been lifted following recent rainfall, according to the Bossier Parish Police Jury.

Officials announced that the parish-wide burn ban was lifted on March 11, after improved weather conditions reduced the risk of wildfire.

Despite the ban being lifted, parish officials are urging residents to continue using caution when conducting outdoor burns, noting that weather conditions can change quickly and unmanaged fires may still pose a risk.

Residents are encouraged to remain mindful of safety precautions when burning outdoors to help protect property and prevent accidental fires across the parish.
