
A coordinated effort between the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a wanted suspect, Sean Patrick Mastin, 41, during the early morning hours of June 11.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies assisted after receiving a request for support from Bossier Parish authorities. Caddo deputies conducted several hours of investigative work, using multiple law enforcement resources, including license plate reader (LPR) technology, to help determine the suspect’s location.
K-9 Deputy Jacob Vaitkus and K-9 Pinkley later located the suspect at a Shreveport business, where the individual was taken into custody without incident on outstanding warrants.
Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr. credited the arrest to strong collaboration between agencies and the use of modern investigative tools, stating that cooperation among law enforcement partners helps improve response times and community safety.
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office emphasized its continued commitment to interagency cooperation and public safety throughout the region.
