Hard work in the classroom paid off for former Bossier Parish and Calvary Baptist men’s basketball standout D’Marcus Hall as he was named to the first team NJCAA All-Academic team for 2022-23.

Hall was one of three student-athletes representing men’s basketball from Region XIV. He graduated from BPCC in the spring and signed a scholarship to play at Southern Arkansas next season. Hall is the second men’s basketball student athlete from BPCC to be named NJCAA All-Academic in three seasons.

Student athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.6 or higher for the 2022-23 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are: first team: 4.0 GPA; second team: 3.8-3.99 and third team: 3.6-3.79.
