
A memorial service for Robert “Bob” Anthony Diamond, 60, will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. A visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until time of service. The family will privately spread his remains in a helicopter over Lake Okeechobee. Officiating the service will be Reverend Kathy Wafer.
Bob was born September 15, 1962 to Anthony John Diamond and Lloyd Jean Webb, in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was a fun loving, kid at heart, who knew the value of a smile. Bob graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 1980. He received a Bachelors degree from Louisiana Tech University in Business. Bob was a chef in numerous Shreveport restaurants before owning Tiger Bites, his LSU theme restaurant and catering business. The restaurant business brought him to Julie, his wife of 16 years. He was a father of three daughters, Marianna, Eleni, and Janie. Bob was a Bigfoot enthusiast. He loved fishing, NASCAR, helicopters, and classic rock. He was a renowned prankster and expert teller of dad jokes. You could find him jamming out on his Fender Stratacaster on a regular basis. Bob was a bit of a history buff, with Vietnam war books stacked on his bedside table. He loved to travel and the family often went on fishing trips together.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his uncle, Deno Diamandis. He is survived by his wife, Julie Diamond; children, Marianna Fotakos, Eleni Fotakos and Janie Diamond; brother, John Diamond; and aunt, Rita Smalls.
