When Willis-Knighton’s AHEC interns are asked what they did on their summer vacation, they’ll say they got a closeup view of how a hospital works. Twenty-five high school students arrived on campus this week for a three-week program that will let them explore a variety of health careers and give them hands-on interactive experiences, build skills and collaborate with health professionals.
