Join Louisiana Key Academy as we celebrate our incredible supporters during the Community Foundation’s Annual Give for Good Event to be held at Superior’s Steakhouse today from 4:00-7:00 p.m..
School leaders will be on-site during the event, and someone will be available to assist with donations.
Stop by to learn more about Louisiana Key Academy Caddo Campus (LKA Caddo), Louisiana’s premier school for students with dyslexia. The event is “come and go,” with Meet & Greets for school officials, advisors, and community representatives at the following times:
- 4:00 p.m. – Pam Barker, LKA Caddo Principal
- 4:30 p.m. – Andromeda Cartright, SPED Director, Academic Leader for LKA
- 5:00 p.m. – Kayla Reggio, Director of the Dyslexia Resource Center, Academic Leader for LKA
- 5:30 p.m. – Dr. Phillip Rozeman, LKA Advisory Council
- 6:00 p.m. – Michael Mellerine, BESE Board Member
LKA Caddo will open in Fall 2023 and is currently enrolling students with dyslexia. LKA Caddo is a tuition-free, full-day school program tailored to meet the needs of students with dyslexia. Using an innovative and effective specialized curriculum, LKA Caddo provides students with dyslexia with the necessary educational tools to unleash their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

LKA is a 501c3 run by a volunteer board of directors in Baton Rouge, with campuses across Louisiana. All funds donated to the school through Give for Good, and any direct donations earmarked for LKA Caddo, will be utilized at the Caddo Campus. Donations will be used to purchase classroom supplies, specialized books for readers with dyslexia, and additional materials needed to create an engaging learning space for LKA Caddo’s students.
