The final regular-season statistical leaderboards for Shreveport Bossier Journal schools show the same names at the top of each list heading into the playoffs.
Airline quarterback Ben Taylor finished the regular season at the top of passing leaders with 2,730 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Running back Jaylan White of Parkway finished the season strong and led all area rushers with 1,445 yards. Benton’s Greg Manning was second in yards with 1,280 and led the way with 23 touchdowns.
Benton receiver Pearce Russell led all pass catchers with 78 receptions and 1,328 yards. Daxton Chavez of Airline led with 18 touchdown receptions and was a member of the 1,000-yard club with 1,044 yards.
Jamal Jordan of Evangel edged past Haughton’s Connor Blank in tackles 114-113. Loyola’s Gray Deason (106), Barrett Newman from Parkway (105) and Gabriel Reliford of Evangel (101) all recorded more than 100 stops on the season.
