St. Thomas More took over the top spot in Class 4A and Ouachita Christian is the new No. 1 in 1A in the newly released Louisiana Sports Writers Association football state top 10 polls.
Parkway dropped out of the Class 5A poll after its first loss of the season to Byrd, leaving the local area without a ranked team in 5A. Destrehan remains the LSWA’s top-ranked team.
Locally, Calvary Is No. 5 and North Caddo moved up slightly to No. 8 in Class 2A.
Union Parish kept its No. 1 ranking in Class 3A and Many tops Class 2A.
