The top winningest coaches in Caddo-Bossier Parishes at schools in the LHSAA have seen a slight change over the last few years but with the retirement of a couple, the top 10 has remained the same.
Currently Calvary coach Rodney Guin and Loyola coach Mike Greene are still working their way up the list. Guin has risen to the No. 3 position but is 28 wins behind No. 2 Dennis Dunn. Greene is six wins behind No. 5 F.H. Pendergrast.
Recently retired Mike Suggs at Byrd is locked in at No. 4 with 167 wins. Bossier schools’ superintendent Mitch Downey is in at No. 7 with 141 wins. Another recently retired coach, Jim Gatlin, rounds out the top 10 at No. 10 with 110 wins while coaching at Parkway and Northwood.
