Bossier Parish earns split in doubleheader

Bossier Parish got a two-hit shutout in the second game of a doubleheader Monday for a 5-0 win over TCS Post Grad and earn a split of the two games after dropping the first 5-0.

Freshman Miles Justin allowed two hits in four innings and struck out six to get the win for BPCC (32-11-1). Jacob Hernandez, Garrett Lott and Jackson Schwank all worked an inning of relief of no hits, three walks and five more strikeouts.

Freshman outfielder Luke Bogan, a former Northwood standout, was 2-for-3 with his first home run and drove in two runs for the Cavs. Cole Ketzner doubled in the first two runs for Bossier Parish.

The Cavs out hit TCS 8-7 in the first game but was unable to push across any runs in the first game loss.

Ketzner was 3-for-3 and Cole Antonelli 3-for-4 for the host Cavaliers.
